Cate goes to the park

Cate on a blanket in the park by the library enjoying a late summer day.
Cate discovers grass. Something else to pull besides hair:)
Is that some hair growing on that bald noggin?

Cate's rough week

Usually such a smiley baby, Cate is having a rough week. She's doing a few short trial runs at daycare and is none too happy about it. She ran a fever Monday night (teething?) and has had more than her usual trouble settling down for naps (especially at daycare). So...such a tired, cranky baby. Such a sad, sad face:(
But this cooled teething ring really helps and brings a bit of a smile:)

Cate's 1st Lobster Bake

Cate attended her first lobster bake and got up close and personal with a lobster.
Daddy's friend Mike, also a fireman and a lobsterman, lives at this beautiful spot. His lobster boat is in the background. Cate's perched on a lobster trap.
Lovin' life in Maine:)

A few more random pics

Here's my "baby" on her 31st birthday (Aug. 23). Yikes! Where did those years go?
You know, at times I'm beginning to see a little bit of Lindsay in Cate:) Like in this picture.
Dancin' on the table:)
At the firehouse with Daddy
Doing her morning yoga
Great Grandma Sprague sent this outfit. It was too small (check out the booties) but so cute we had to put it on for a picture. Rick says with the hat she looks like a member of the US Women's Olympic Water Polo Team:)

Wrinkling her nose
Enjoying herself down at the Five Islands Lobster Wharf

Saturday, August 16, 2008: Cate turns 7 months old. Wow!!!

Cate at camp

Here's Cate having fun at the lake. Just rolling around on her blanket.
Talking things over with Grandpa.

Doing her push-ups.

And best of all...getting her bath in the kitchen sink:)

Eating and other new experiences

Sometimes I like sitting at the table and eating new foods.
Sometimes I don't. (Actually I think Jay just made a loud noise and scared her. She's very sensitive to sudden, unexpected noises. No problem with her hearing).
The exersaucer can be interesting. She's figured out how to operate all the gadgets.
Cate: Look at me driving the fire truck like a big girl!
