6 Weeks Old

Cate: My bath was fun but when I had to get out of the warm water, I got cold!!!
As Great Grandma Sprague would say, "A little birdie's going to come along and sit on that lip."
Cate: Sometimes holding my head up is enough to make a girl go cross eyed!
Cate: Here comes that camera again.
Cate: Don't mess with me. I'm 6 weeks old, you know!
Cate: I love my mommy!!!

Cate had her check-up and was pronounced perfectly healthy. As Lindsay says, "She weighs 8 pounds and 4 ounces (25th percentile), is 21 inches long (50th percentile), and has feet in the 297th percentile" -that last part's the Sprague in her:)

All Smiles at 5 Weeks

Now that I'm 5 weeeks old, I'm starting to smile!!!:)

Activities

Cate: "When I get fussy (lots of the time), sometimes Mommy and Daddy let me look out the window."

Cate's getting a little tummy time:)

Look how cute Cate looks fresh from her bath and wrapped up in her special towel, a gift from my friend Pam in San Diego.

Playtime

Cate's just hanging out with her dog Zoe and trying out her new play mat. Those dangling toys have caught her eye.

Sleepy Cate

And they say she never sleeps:)

Feb. 16 - One month old

Cate is now one month old. She is our little bright eyes:) She also seems to be enjoying the sling Lindsay got to carry her around. Now Lindsay says she may be able to actually get a little work done around the house:)

Cate is 4 weeks old

Isn't she getting to be a big girl now that she's 4 weeks old? Hard to believe that this little precious can still be a fuss budget at 2 AM and keep her Mommy and Daddy up at night.

Winter in Maine

Cate's ready for a little fresh air with a ride around the block in her stroller. During a Maine winter, a little fresh air means bundling up bigtime!
Cate likes her thumb. Did Auntie Laurie teach her that when we weren't looking?

Visit to the Fire station

Now that Cate is 3 weeks old, she is starting to get out a little. She made her first visit to the fire station to see Daddy and the guys at work. As you can see, she was not overly impressed. I'm sure this will be just the first of many visits:) Before we know it, she'll probably be climbing all over the firetruck.

Cate's wardrobe:)

Cate is wearing the outfit Daddy bought.
This bright pink shirt and matching socks are from Auntie Laurie and Uncle Zach.
Today she's dressing all in red in support of Women's Heart Health:)
Aunt Chrissy and Uncle Nate want to make sure she's a "cool kid" in her black onesie with pearls and her jeans. So glad this Maine baby has someone to give her a little Philadelphia style:)

Cate sleeping - Jan 29

Had to get some footage of Cate before I left for Ohio. Isn't she a tiny little thing? Just 2 weeks old:)

Cate and Daddy - Jan 29

Rick likes to entertain Cate with cheerleading practice for the Morse High School Shipbuilders (where Lindsay teaches) followed by Cate and Daddy's special song. Words to their song are as follows:

"Cater-tot, Cater-tot, you're my little girl.
"Cater-tot, Cater-tot, you're my whole wide world..."

What a wonderful Daddy!!!
