Lobsterfest with family:)

My sister Kathy, husband Larry, and daughter Laurel have been visiting with us for a few days. Last night we decided to treat them to a real Maine lobster dinner. We've had so much fun sharing our new home with them, and Cate has certainly kept them entertained.

Papou's Little Helper - Sorta:)

First, this is Jay's latest craft project: a driftwood tree. He saw these in several gift shops and decided he could do that. So we gathered driftwood down at Popham Beach and this is what he came up with:)
Cate was visiting this morning. When Jay decided to go outside and mow the lawn, Cate decided to pull up a chair and watch. Look at those curls!

Cate being silly!

Jay and Rick taught Cate to stick her arm/hand up her shirt and out the neck and attack herself. She thinks it's hilarious and I caught it on tape last night. As she would say: "Cate so silly!"

Cate

Great Grandma Sprague sent this outfit to Cate and she couldn't wait to put it on and show it off. Her reaction to, "Smile, Cate."
The hat really makes it:)

CHillin' at Gramma's.

Time to go home and go to bed. "I'm sure glad my gramma is back from her trip to Ohio. I missed her."

Flowers, Grass, and Gardens in Maine

The railing has been stained and flower pots planted.
Notice the stones around the base of the porch supports... Better Homes and Gardens idea:)

Friends have donated plants so we've put them out front until we decide on permanent placement. Thanks you, Julie!
Jay's little hillside garden (below) of tomato and pepper plants. And some strawberries and red raspberries. He also has some blueberries in another spot.
